Pomme Racoon

While me and my boyfriend were travelling through Thailand, one of our hiking guides tought us how to say 'I love you' in Thai. The words, Phom rak koon, were a constant chime the group repeated over and over. For Joost and me, the way to remember the words soon translated into 'pomme (French for apple) racoon (the black-eyed bandit)'. To use these words reminds us of an incredible journey and gives me some perspective for the future.
